English 8 - Career Unit Research - 20 completed notecards due Tuesday, 3/23. Students should give me date job of shadow by the end of the week, or work with me to schedule a class speaker. Students should write cover letter and begin writing career report. Job Applications should be competed. Instruction for completeing the i-search will be given on Wednesday. Students should come to class each day prepared to write.
English 7 - Magazine Writing Project - Students will be given a rubric for The Feature Article, due Thursday, 3/25. On Monday, students will be taught how to write a bibliography and will be expected to keep track of all web sites, books, and periodicals used to write the articles in this magazine. On Tuesday, students will be introduced to the second article for the magazine: a book, movie or music review. The review will be due 4/13.
English 6 - Adjectives - Students will be introduced to nouns used as adjectives, limiting, numeral, and demonstrative adjectives. They should expect a quiz on pp. 291 -295 on Thursday.
