English 8 - Week of 4/11-4/15

Students have been researching careers and should have the following items completed:

Introductory Paragraph, Job application, I-search, 20 note cards.

The following items should be completed by the end of this week:

Cover letter, rough draft of paper, thank you letter, works cited page.

In addition, students should have either a job shadow, speaker, or presentation scheduled. Student presentations will be held Wednesday and Thursday 4/20 and 4/21. All job shadows and career speakers should be scheduled before April 20th. Students should see me this week about scheduling one of the three if they haven't done so yet.

The due date for the research paper and all of it's pieces has been moved to Tuesday, April 19th.
