Research should be almost complete for the career reports. Students should begin writing the report in sections as follows:
Tuesday, April 6 - students will be given class time to write the Overview (a) and the Training/Education (b) sections of the report. Students will handwrite in class and type as homework. The I-Search is due on Wednesday and can be handwritten.
Wednesday, April 7 - Guest Speaker Bill Retterer will speak about careers in the nuclear Navy. After the presentation, students will have time to write section (c) the cost of the education. Students should have already used collegeboard.com or the college/trade school web site to get tuition, housing and other costs. If not, this will be homework.
Thursday - Students should complete section (d) - specific employers and locations. There will be class time for handwriting. Final copy should be typed as homework. Class computers will be open for researching employers if needed.
