English 8 - Finish study of word roots, prefixes, and suffixes. On Tuesday, students will be given class time to work on crossword puzzles with their partners. One crossword plus answer key for each group of two is due at beginning of class on Thursday, 1/20. Homework: Activity E. p. 276, and Activity H, p. 277. Due: Thursday!
Wednesday 1/19 - Students will be dying t-shirts. When shirts are complete, students may work on homework, finish crossword puzzles, and/or study for test. Be sure to memorize the roots and their meanings and be able to change words by adding suffixes.

1/20 - Roots quiz. Then begin writing assignment for Barnes and Nobles Contest.
