Students are writing original poetry, copying poetry from other authors, writing a brief literary analysis of each poem, and memorizing a poem to recite to class. Students should be writing approximately one poem per night and copying one or more poems from other authors each night or in class. 2/23 - Poetry Recitation in Class (14 line or longer poem needs to be memorized)
2/25 - Vocabulary Test #2 (Poetry book check date)
