Students are writing original poetry and responding to poetry of other authors. Students should also select a poem to memorize. Here are some dates to keep in mind:
2/16 - Students should have completed Name Poem, 3 Haiku, and 2 Diamonte Poems.
2/17 - Students should have 2 quatrains.
2/23 - Story Poem Due
2/24 - 2 Limericks due.
3/3 - Students should recite a poem - Must be a minimum of 12 lines long and must be pre-approved by me.
Poetry book will be due March 3rd.
